About Tom Mboya University
Tom Mboya University is an 8-year-old institution founded with a societal mission to transform communities through quality education, research, innovation, and outreach. It aims to be a premier, internationally recognized university distinguished for academic excellence and societal relevance. The university offers a comprehensive educational experience across seven faculties: Education, Business and Economics, Physical and Biological Sciences, Engineering, Blue Economy, Law (CMG Argwings Kodhek Faculty of Law), and Arts and Social Sciences. It provides 92 academic programs including undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, and certificate courses. With over 200 qualified staff members and a student body representing more than 30 counties, TMU emphasizes holistic development through campus life activities, health services, sports, and student organizations.
