Rift Valley Technical Training Institute (RVTTI) is a public technical training institution located in Eldoret, Kenya. Established in 1962 as a technical and trade school, it evolved into a high school in 1979 offering A-level courses in mathematics, physics, and chemistry. In 1986, it became a technical training institute. RVTTI has played a foundational role in the development of other educational institutions, including Eldoret Polytechnic, University of Eldoret, and the School of Health Sciences at Moi University. As a post-secondary institution, it focuses on technical, industrial, vocational, and entrepreneurial training (TIVET), aligning with Kenya's Vision 2030 to meet the growing demand for technical manpower. The institute has experienced significant growth, with student enrollment exceeding 8,000 as of 2025, supported by 122 teaching staff from the Teachers Service Commission, approximately 40 part-time lecturers, and 80 non-teaching staff.
