Universal Traders Sacco Limited (UTS) is a financial cooperative society based in the lower eastern region of Kenya. Originally registered in 1991 as Masaku Traders Sacco Society Limited, it was established to address the economic needs of the local community.
UTS provides a comprehensive range of financial services primarily targeting the business community, with offerings including various loan products, savings accounts, and membership services. The organization has grown significantly over its 30+ years of operation, currently serving over 6,000 members through 7 branches.
UTS emphasizes financial growth, wise saving and investment, and financial literacy training for its members. The sacco has received recognition through 17+ awards and maintains partnerships with various organizations while engaging in community initiatives like tree planting and women's enterprise programs.
