About Ubuntu Junior Academy
Ubuntu Junior Academy is a Christian-based educational institution that focuses on identifying and nurturing the unique God-given talents in every child from an early age, developing them into passion and purpose. The school's philosophy is inspired by the African concept of 'Ubuntu,' which emphasizes community, sharing, and collective success, as illustrated in the story of children working together to share sweets. The academy offers a comprehensive educational journey from early childhood through junior secondary levels, including Preprimary Education (Play Group to Preprimary 2), Lower Primary Education (Grade 1 to Grade 3), Upper Primary Education (Grade 4 to Grade 6), and Junior Secondary (Grade 7 to Grade 9). In addition to core academics, the school provides various programs and extracurricular activities such as the Ubuntu Holiday Coding and Sports Camp, Saturday Mornings Program, golf, arts and crafts, music band, football, and swimming. The founder's personal experience struggling to find quality kindergarten education for her own children motivated the establishment of the academy, aiming to alleviate similar pressures for other parents seeking reliable early childhood education.
