Ram Training College School Of Nursing

RAM Training College is a middle-level college established in 2009, initially to train Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing diploma students. It has since expanded its offerings to include a variety of diploma and certificate courses in other fields. The college is registered by Kenya's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology under the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) framework, complying with the TVET Act No. 29 of 2013. It is also an accredited KNEC examination center (No. 70310). The institution holds accreditation from several professional bodies, including the Nursing Council of Kenya (NCK), the Clinical Officer’s Council, and the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute (KNDI) to offer related courses. The college reports exemplary performance in national examinations, with an average pass rate of 92%. For practical training, students are placed in county referral hospitals and sub-county hospitals for clinical placements and attachments. The college is hosted within RAM Hospital, providing students with a practical learning environment. Many graduates have been employed in various hospitals in different capacities.
