Kujali Children's Centre is a Kenyan charitable organization and NGO founded in 1999, originally as an orphanage for vulnerable girls. It has since transformed into a care center focusing on welfare programs for abandoned babies and pregnant teenagers, operating under the Children Act 2022 and National Standards for Best Practices in Charitable Children's Institutions.
The organization supports approximately 2,500 children through various programs, including an abandoned baby unit, teenage mother support, short-term residential care, school feeding programs, counseling services, education grants, and reintegration initiatives.
Kujali operates from a purpose-built center in Ngoingwa on donated land and works under the direction of the Thika Children's Office via court orders. It follows Kenya's National Care Reform Strategy, transitioning from institutional-based to family and community-based care since 2017, with a focus on adoption, fostering, and reintegration.
The center is sponsored by the UK-based charity Kenya Children Centres and also offers venue hire for conferences or events in a separate building.
