The company originated when Keshavjee, after an incident where an air hostess spilled food on his suit, discovered that no local dry cleaners offered same-day service and used outdated equipment.

He imported state-of-the-art machinery from Baker Perkins, a British company, and established White Rose Dry Cleaners and Dyers with the motto 'Your Clothes’ Best Friend.' Today, it is recognized as Kenya's premier dry cleaner and the largest of its kind in East and Central Africa, operating a network of over 50 branches, including processing units, collection points, and franchises across major cities in Kenya and Uganda.
